1It's isosceles triangle that means two sides are equal and we are given base and height. If you draw a line from the top to the center of base (base/2) you will get a right triangle. with the sides c (hypotenuse) (base/2) and height (h). Then using Pythagorean theorem you can calculate c.

Then the perimeter is 2c+base.

Note: Pay attention when calculating base/2, since base may be an odd number.
