| 3 | For the least number of boxes, on every step, there has to be 1 difference like;
on the first step 1
on the second step 2
on the third 3
so on.
Thus, If there are 6 boxes you can have 3 steps. Similarly, for 7 or 8 boxes, again there can be 3 steps. But if there are 10 boxes then we can put the fourth step.
